BRITISH RADWASTE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BRIMS™)

BRIMS™ is an integrated software system which has been designed to satisfy the various information management requirements of the UK radioactive waste producers and associated regulatory and Government bodies. In maintaining and developing BRIMS™, Advantage has:

• conducted Requirement Capture exercises;
• developed Functional Specifications;
• implemented major changes using Oracle, PowerBuilder and the Microsoft .net framework
• provided a helpdesk facility
• provided roll out support and training

Advantage is also pro-active in investigating and making suggestions for further enhancements to BRIMS™ and regularly attends the BRIMS™ User Group meetings.

Advantage has added value to the development and maintenance process of BRIMS™, working in partnership with the BRIMS™ User Group to develop BRIMS™.
