British Transport Police goes live with LOCARDŽ webSOCOn 23rd September 2006 British Transport Police, Scenes of Crime Department, which covers England, Scotland and Wales, went live with LOCARDŽ webSOC.
As they operate within a national Force, British Transport Police Crime Scene Examiners often have to travel great distances to attend crime scenes. Having the ability to update scenes and exhibits whilst away from the office through LOCARDŽ webSOC has been an invaluable tool in their operational effectiveness. Project Manager, Ranjit Chagar (pictured right), said: "Thanks to the support received from Advantage, the implementation went smoothly. After a month of live use the users have reported they have seen an improvement to their working day." British Transport Police Crime Scene Examiners can not only update LOCARDŽ webSOC, but can also remotely access Fotoweb, email and various Force applications. Published 9th November 2006
