British Army takes delivery of PROMIS v5

Advantage released PROMIS v5 in April 2006.

A significant update to the administration and assessment system for the Army’s Department for Education that runs entirely via a browser-based interface, PROMIS v5 builds on the functionality of the previous version by including:

 A new comprehensive ad-hoc reporting facility;
 Automated TAFMIS import for new recruit data and;
 An offline PROMIS import to allow remote non-connected sites to submit data.

PROMIS v5 also delivers key operating gains with the use of pop-ups giving direct view of an individual's record from anywhere in the system, storage of customised joining instructions for each training course, retained visibility of student priorities after course assignment and the ability to record dependents information.  With its improved usability, PROMIS v5 marks a new stage in the course administration and training record management of all the Army’s personnel.
