Advantage Technology Contributes to Increased Security at Heathrow

Passengers flying with Cathay Pacific or Emirates to Hong Kong or Dubai from Terminal 3 of Heathrow Airport are being invited to participate in a trial of a biometric system called miSense.  The system captures biometric data (digital photograph, fingerprints and iris scans) and links it to data scanned in from the passenger's passport, and is designed to "fast track" participants past queues through security and boarding controls.  miSense links to Advantage's Internet Check-In Scanning System (ICISS), operational at 10 airports in the British Isles including Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted.  ICISS performs security validation checks of home-printed On-Line Check-In (OLCI) boarding passes.
