    Police Workforce Model

Advantage System Solutions Limited was selected in a competitive arena to support the Home Office to test the Police Workforce Model. The model, initially developed within the Economics Research Assessment group, was to be reviewed and checked by means of an automated test harness which could then be used again should further development of the model be required.

Advantage began the work by performing a thorough review of the design and implementation of the model with the Home Office. This led to a series of suggestions for enhancement and correction which were implemented by Advantage.

Having completed the modifications, the design of the test harness was agreed and documented. The harness was then implemented and a full acceptance test performed to ensure that the tests produced the required output. The outcome of the tests was documented after further, minor corrections were applied.

Further work was undertaken following the success of the acceptance tests to enhance the model.

Customer satisfaction recorded at the end of the project indicated positive feedback in every category.
